Big Butterfly Count is a free app from the Butterfly Conservation charity that aims to get you and the whole family to count and identify the UK’s 21 butterflies and moths species.
You’ll spend 15 minutes in nature with the Big Butterfly Count app and help butterflies at the same time. It’s a fun, simple way to count the butterfly species and compare with other people's record.
It also includes a lovely ID guide that has species names and ID tips to help you identify and learn about the 21 species that are the focus of this study.
